Tuan Malinowski (they/them) is a New York—based director and choreographer, reclaiming the landscape of the American theatre through reimagined revivals and inspired new work.
Malinowski’s choreographic work includes Cabaret (Northern Stage), Pippin (Weathervane Theatre), and productions at Texas State University, Ithaca College, Viterbo University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. They have choreographed for celebrated New York—events, such as Jay Armstrong Johnson’s I Put A Spell On You and Leg Up On Life’s Night of Life. Malinowski has been an associate/assistant on off-Broadway and regional productions such as Chay Yew’s praised reexamination of South Pacific (Goodspeed Musicals), the world premiere of Game On (Pittsburgh CLO) and The Perfect Game (Theatre Row). They were also the observer for New York City Center’s acclaimed Encores! production of The Light in the Piazza.
